NDECC
Clinical Skills
The NDECC exam is a key part of the NDEB equivalency process. It is conducted by the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) of Canada and is the third step in the NDEB Equivalency Process
The NDECC exam has two assessments the candidates will be tested on. The NDECC Clinical Skills component evaluates the candidates' clinical competence and operative dentistry. The second component is the Situational Judgement which evaluates the candidates’ professionalism and communication skills.
The NDECC Skills exam tests your ability to meet Canadian dentistry standards on seven dental projects including both tooth preparation projects and restorative projects. Candidates will be completing these projects on one day while following strict infection control rules.
