AFK exam is the first step for internationally trained dentists to become licensed in Canada. The AFK test is a multiple-choice exam that checks your biomedical and clinical sciences knowledge. It has two books, each with 100 single-answer questions. The exam covers what a new Dental Practitioner in Canada needs to know. Questions come from 8 major areas.

If you are a full-time student, six months is generally enough. In fact, students who take our six-month course and study full-time usually pass the exam on their very first attempt. However, if you plan to work while studying, we offer other options tailored specifically for students who are working while taking the course. These options are designed to accommodate your schedule and ensure you can still be well-prepared for the exam.
